Fully redesigned for 2019, the Accord presents a more sleek posture thanks to some very welcomed changes to the exterior contour lines. The uplevel trims now have a pleasing mixture of wood trim, leather upholstery, and functional storage spaces. Whatever trim you choose, however, you'll be getting a well-rounded automobile, one that won't depreciate rapidly from the time you purchase it until you decide to trade it in or sell it.
All 2019 Honda Accord trims can be purchased with the standard engine, a 1.5L four-cylinder power source that delivers that power to the front wheels. The engine is paired to a continuously variable transmission. The uplevel trims can be fitted with a turbocharged 2.0L engine good for 252 horsepower. This engine is paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. If you choose the Sport model, you can opt for a six-speed manual transmission for no extra charge. The Accord boasts a very responsive drivetrain, and the vehicle corners with barely any roll motion. Acceleration response is also quite rapid, and gear changes are very smooth even at arterial speeds.
You get a lot of bang for your buck even if you choose the base LX trim. Standard features include push-button ignition, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a height-adjustable driver's seat. You also get a USB port, a very nice four-speaker sound system, Bluetooth, and a 7-inch screen display. The Sport trim adds on a power-adjustable driver's seat, a split rear bench seat, and simulated leather upholstery. This trim also comes with a larger screen display and an upgraded audio system that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The uplevel trims really pile on the goodies. Standard amenities on these versions include heated front seats, leather upholstery, a sunroof, HD and satellite radio, and an upgraded stereo system. A navigation system is optional on the EX-L trim and standard on the Touring trim. The Touring trim also comes with a Wi-Fi hotspot.
For 2019, every Honda Accord comes with a rearview camera, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning with automatic braking. The vehicle is also equipped with a full set of airbags for the front and rear seating areas. Keyless entry and ignition is included on the EX and above trims. If you choose the Touring trim, you get a head-up display as well as front and rear parking sensors.
