Today, we at Proctor Honda are excited to introduce you to the 2025 Honda CR-V! Learn how this compact hybrid holds up when placed against a competitor, the 2025 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.
Performance
Are you hoping to go on an extended adventure in the near future? RAV4 Hybrid will offer you a 41/38/39 MPG city/hwy/combined1 fuel economy rating for this. However, the Honda CR-V Hybrid improves upon this with its 43/36/40 MPG city/hwy/combined2 EPA-estimated figure. This is thanks to the standard 2.0L 4-cylinder engine with two electric motors, while the Toyota model makes use of a standard 2.5L 4-cylinder powertrain and the same number of motors. Both systems are complemented by an AWD system, however, only the CR-V Hybrid gives you the choice between this and a standard FWD configuration. Additionally, each SUV sports standard stabilizer bars on each end to reduce the severity of bumps and potholes on the roads of Tallahassee.
Interior
As you trek across Route 90, you will likely require a number of amenities to make these rides something more than mundane. To do so, make use of the many inclusions within the 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid. This includes the heated front seats whenever winter proves to be a bit more chilling than usual, or the standard 10-way power-adjustable driver’s chair with 2-way lumbar support for increased comfort. Both of these features are only available on the Toyota model, meaning rides may not be as enjoyable. However, the RAV4 Hybrid can be complemented with an 11-speaker JBL®3 system for an enhanced listening experience. However, this is once again outdone by the Honda, which brings a 12-speaker Bose® configuration. Exterior
In regards to the outside of these models, you will find that they boast a number of similarities. The standard LED headlights on these models will illuminate dark nights, keeping your drives safe. They are also both home to an optional sunroof, giving you the ability to get your daily dose of vitamin D from within your vehicle. Do you often have to deal with a thin veil of moisture forming on your side-view mirrors? The Honda model brings a standard heating feature to prevent this. However, the RAV4 Hybrid makes this an available feature. For a more aerodynamic experience, these SUVs use standard active grille shutters, which also works to cool the engine more quickly.
