Proctor Honda of Tallahassee-Thomasville invites you to meet Dave Saba. A new and used internet sales specialist selling new, used , and certified pre-owned cars in Tallahassee-Thomasville.
My name is Dave Saba. I'm a single father of two, both of whom were born
in Tallahassee. My daughter Whitney is 21, married and a recent FSU graduate
with a degree in psychology. Addison, my son, is in the Air Force and stationed
in Panama City at Tyndall Air Force Base. He's a mechanic for the F-15's, F-16's
and soon F-22's. I was born in mid-state New York and raised in Huntsville
Alabama. I say that because I moved to Alabama when I was 14 and yes, it was a
culture shock, but I adapted and after the first year, I was really getting the
southern thing down. Those years where filled with riding motocross, swim team,
and wrestling.
I currently stay fit by mountain biking and swimming. I also belong to
the Atomic Race Team in Tallahassee. I volunteer on trail building projects with
the city whenever I can. I graduated high school in 1970 and went to Florence
State College for my first year then transferred to Auburn University for my
second year. After a break, I ended up with a degree in marine biology from the
University of Alabama. Back in the 70's no one saw the need for marine
biologists (or at least nobody wanted to pay for one) so I went into marketing
and sales.
I worked for the Hilton Hotel chain as a manager and later went to work
as a property manager for a company that owned a number of properties in the
southeast. I would revamp the property, make it profitable, lease it out, and
move on to the next one. From there I was persuaded to make a move to the then
fledgling cable TV industry. I was the Sales and Marketing Manager for three of
the systems, the last one being in Tallahassee.
I moved here in 1984 and in 1985 I went into the automobile business.
I've worked in Tallahassee ever since holding various management positions in
sales. I moved to Proctor Honda in July of 2003 as a sales representative in
Pre-Owned and I'm still here and loving every minute of it. I am dedicated to
providing a dependable and reliable product to my customers. I believe it is
easier to sell something you believe in and Honda is that product. The Proctors
know it's better to keep a customer than to find a new one.
