Internet Sales Specialist
SUMMARY
Responds to Internet
customer inquires and ensures that the dealership actualizes its maximum profit
potential on Internet sales.
Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Follows current internet guidelines and processes
- Responds by email and phone to all internet leads in a timely
manner based upon current internet processes.
- Understands the psychology of Internet customers and works with
them accordingly.
- Set appointments to with customers to provide a proper in store vehicle
demonstration, and to close the transaction.
- Maintains an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business.
- Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with
dealership standards of productivity, and devises a strategy to meet those
goals
- Sells/Leases and delivers a minimum of units per month deemed
satisfactory by Sales Manager.
- Delivers messages intended for other departments promptly. Notifies customers that their messages
have been forwarded to the appropriate personnel for prompt attention.
- Has thorough knowledge of dealership products and services.
- Directs customers to product information resources, including those
available on the Internet.
- Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their
benefits to customers.
- Attends product and sales training as requested by sales manager.
- Maintains professional appearance.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven
environment.
- Knowledge and ability of how to use word processing programs
- Ability to understand and implement intermediate level email
communication including manipulating templates, adding links and
attachments if necessary.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, taxes,
and percentages.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw
valid conclusions.
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret and respond whether written or
verbal to customer inquiries or questions via web, phone or in person.
